Cheryl Anita Brown was born Sunday, November 13, 1960, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Gilbert Williamson Sr. and Milla Dean Williamson. She peacefully passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 63, at Physicians Hospital in Anadarko, OK, leaving behind a cherished legacy.
A proud individual from Ardmore, Cheryl graduated from Springer High School and dedicated herself to a career as a licensed cosmetologist. Her deep connection to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church reflected her strong spiritual beliefs, while her unwavering support for her sons' athletic endeavors demonstrated her nurturing nature.
On April 4, 1990, Cheryl entered into holy matrimony with Sanford Brown Jr. "Sandy" in Norman, OK, radiating love and warmth in all facets of her life. Known for her kindness in words, joy in laughter, and illuminating smile even in challenging times, Cheryl's devotion as a mother, wife, and homemaker transcended the ordinary with boundless love.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Sanford Brown; two sons, Rache' Williamson and fiancée Jessica, and David Williamson; seven brothers: Gilbert Williamson, Alvin Williamson (Debra), Joey Williamson, Earnest Williamson (Sheryl), Darren Miller, Gary Williamson, Mathew Williamson; sisters: Ruth Wilson, Rhonda Sophus Darla Bush Cynthia Parker Melanie Williamson; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous aunts, uncles nieces nephews; and a multitude of other relatives and friends.
Cheryl will be dearly missed but will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
