Jayden Lorenza Kirk was born June 26, 2009, to and Christina Griffin Kirk and Jobie L. Kirk, II. Jayden was the first-born twin by 5 minutes. That made her the oldest, and she was sure to always remind her sister of that fact. Jayden was always putting her sisters wants and needs before her own. She loved to read and listen to music. She won her first battle with a brain tumor when she was only four years old. Through it all, she was the glue that kept the family together and her sisters in line.
Jayden was a very precious and strong little lady. She was a super girl in every sense of the word. I know I have a Jealous God, so I can understand why he called this precious angel home so soon. I want to give thanks to our Heavenly Father for allowing me the pleasure of being her earthly father for 14 great years. Those 14 years have been the best years of my life. She will be missed dearly but never forgotten. I cannot wait for the day I can see her again. Today we must celebrate the life of one of God’s most special Angels.
Jayden was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Louise Dye and Larry Joe Griffin; her paternal grandfather, Jobie L. Kirk, Sr. and his wife Willie; and her uncle, Christopher Dye.
Jayden leaves to forever cherish her memories her parents, Christina Griffin and Jobie L. Kirk II; her twin sister, Jordan and younger sister, Jurnee; her brothers, Shabarekh Smith and Phinehas Israel; her paternal grandmother, Nadine Overstreet; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
