Marco Tyrome Jackson

Saturday, September 1, 1973, Marco Tyrome Jackson was born to Wyvonne Rijinia Jackson and Michael Taylor.  Marcogrew up in Elmore City and graduated from Purnell School as a football star in 1992. 

 Following high school Marco moved with his grandmother, Geraldine to Tulsa, OK where he spent several years working at Quick Service Steel and met Erika Davis. Years later Marco and Erika moved to Arkansas where they married July 10, 2004.  

After spending several years in Arkansas, the couple then relocated to Orlando, Florida with his Aunt Sheila Clayton. Marco became a certified Forklift Operator.  In 2007, Jaraya Burns his beloved god daughter was born then he was blessed with a Godson, Jahciere McDonald. Although, 

Marco loved big city living and the company of his GOD-Children, friends and family you couldn’t keep the country boy in the city. Marco and Erika 

then moved back to Oklahoma in 2011. Marco spent his free time riding horses with his cousin/brother, Shawn, going to the casino with his Aunts, Vickie and Patrica, exploring new restaurants, and going to rodeo’s. Marco gained his wings, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 8:57PM surrounded by his family.

Marco was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Geraldine and Willard Jackson, Uncle Willard Jackson Jr. and a brother, Gerlando Everett Halstied September 25, 2016.

Marco leaves to forever cherish his memory his  mother, Wyvonne Jackson, OKC, OK, wife, Erika Jackson, of Bossier City, LA, sister, Succentto 

Jackson-Hennesy and Lonnie of OKC, OK, God-children, Jaraya Burns, Florida, and Jahciere McDonald, OKC, OK, three aunts, Sheila Clayton, Florida, Valarie ‘Vickie’ Jackson, OKC, OK,  and Patricia Hull, Texas. Two uncles, Robert Jackson Corpus Christi, TX, and Wardell Jackson, Florida, a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
