Shane Demar Williams Sr., was born on September 20, 1990, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and transitioned from this world on September 29, 2024, at the local hospital, surrounded by love and cherished memories of a life well lived. He was 34 years old.
Shane completed his education at Ardmore High School, laying the groundwork for a passionate career as a welder at East Jordan, where he found satisfaction in working with his hands. His love for the outdoors and his knack for engaging in hands-on activities shaped much of his life, whether it involved working on cars, installing stereo systems, or connecting with friends and family through laughter and shared moments. Known for his sense of humor, he had a lighthearted and playful spirit that was evident in his interactions, especially with his sister Alishia, with whom he frequently shared jokes and banter.
One of Shane's proudest accomplishments was becoming a father. His love for his two children, daughter Raylee Williams and son Shane Williams Jr., was profound and unwavering; he cherished them wholeheartedly. Shane's ability to put a smile on their faces and fill their lives with joy was matched only by his affection for his Granny, Loretta Forbes, for whom he would do anything, showcasing the large capacity of his heart.
In addition to his parents, Donna Lee and Michael Carr, Shane’s legacy is sustained by a circle of cherished family members and friends, including his grandmother Loretta; his sister Alishia McInturff; the mother of his children, Chelsee Warren; and godmother Darlene Green. His bonus siblings, Renada Carr, Ashli Carr, Chanda, and Jonathan Willis, extended his family ties even further, while close friends such as Bre Castillo and childhood companions Paul Rodriguez, EJ Gonzales, and Danny Harvey helped shaped his formative years.
Shane took immense pride in his relationships with his nephews Bryan, Corey, and Jacob McInturff, along with his niece, Ava McInturff, with whom he created treasured memories. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of friendships that includes god sisters Jomokenyata Osborne and Jiya Moughton (William), reflecting his warm and open-hearted nature.
Shane is preceded in death by his brother Cortez Williams and his dad-in-love Willie "Buddy" Fields. His vibrant personality and skilled hands will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
