T'marion Javonte McGee, affectionately known as "NFant," was born on January 25, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Latisha Mack and Shrodic McGee Sr. He departed this world on December 21, 2024, in his hometown, leaving behind a vibrant legacy that will echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
Determined and loved beyond measure, T'marion brought joy and laughter into every room he entered. He was not merely the life of the party; he was the heart of it. With a passion for dance and an unfailing ability to crack a joke, his personality illuminated the lives of friends and family alike. T'marion's laughter will forever echo in the memories cherished by those who were blessed to have shared sweet moments with him.
T'marion's journey was marked by his unwavering spirit and determination. He was a proud graduate of Ardmore High School, achieving his diploma in 2023, a milestone that signified not just an academic achievement but a testament to his perseverance and dedication. He had a profound passion for automobiles, finding joy in every aspect of working on them. He also found fulfillment in his work within the laundry department of the Chickasaw Nation. Outside of his career, he immersed himself in an array of interests, finding joy in basketball, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, playing video games, and horseback riding.
His proudest accomplishment in life was his role as a father to his beloved daughters, Nyla Bennett, Ameliah McGee, and Aaliyah Williamson. T'marion embodied love and commitment toward his children, demonstrating an unwavering dedication that will continue to inspire them as they grow.
T'marion is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Latisha Mack; his father, Shrodric McGee Sr.; his father in love, Boris Jones; and his sisters and brothers—Kamesha McGee, Shaquille Shannon, Chelsea McGee, Monquasia McGee, Shrodric Mcgee Jr., Chadre McGee, Daa'Jien McGee, and TyQwan McGee. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives, including his paternal grandmother in love, Sharon McGee; his maternal grandfather, Melvin Mims; his paternal grandmother, Mittie Mae Culp; his maternal great-grandfather, Alva Mims; aunts and uncles, including Tiffany Newberry, Melissa Halstied, Melvin Jarmar Mims, and Mario Dawkins, as well as a host of great aunts, great uncles, countless cousins, and a myriad of friends who enriched his life.
T'marion was preceded in death by a number of beloved family members, including his maternal grandmother, Donna Jean Mack; his maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn K. Louis-Mack; his maternal great-grandfather, Preston Mack; his maternal great-grandmother, Modean Mims; his paternal grandfather, Lawrence McGee Sr.; and his uncle, Lawrence McGee Jr.
A visitation honoring T'marion's life will be held on January 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Kirk Funeral Home, located at 6 E Street NE, Ardmore, OK. Following this, the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. T'marion’s funeral service will be conducted on January 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 12 3rd Ave. NE, Ardmore, OK.
